What to expect at your appointment
Our Commitment to You
At Bailey Podiatry & Reflexology, weβre dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centred care in a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Our clinic is built on the principles of clinical integrity, respect, and evidence-based treatment.
We aim to make your experience with us positive from the moment you get in touch to the end of your care journey. The following outlines what you can expect from usβand what we ask in return to help us deliver the highest standard of care.
Our Promise
We treat every patient with dignity, kindness, and professionalism.
We strive to run on time and will keep you informed of any unavoidable delays.
Our care follows up-to-date clinical guidelines, and we stay current with CPD and professional training.
We maintain strict infection control and hygiene protocols in accordance with HCPC and Royal College of Podiatry standards.
Treatments are always explained clearly, and your consent is central to every clinical decision.
What We Ask of You
To help us work efficiently and safely, we kindly request that patients:
Arrive on time for appointments. This helps us keep to schedule and ensures everyone receives the full time theyβre booked for.
Let us know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule. This allows us to offer the slot to someone else in need. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a charge.
Keep us informed of any changes to your medical history, medications, or contact details. This ensures weβre working with the most accurate and up-to-date information.
Avoid wearing nail polish or dressings on your feet if we are examining or treating nails or skin.
Respect clinic boundariesβaudio or video recordings must only be made with staff consent.
Pay promptly at the time of treatment. Receipts/invoices can be issued on request.
Clinical Safety
We use sharp and sterile instruments as part of routine care. While the risk is minimal, please be aware that minor skin nicks or reactions can occur. All procedures are carried out with full attention to your safety.
If you develop an infection, open wound, or suspect you need antibiotics, please consult your GP or NHS urgent care services. We do not provide long-term wound care or ulcer managementβthis is best handled in collaboration with NHS services.
Treating Children and Young People
Patients under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who can provide consent and remain present during the appointment.
Ongoing Support
Our goal is to support your foot health, but not every condition resolves immediately. If you're concerned that your issue hasnβt improved following treatment, please let us know. Weβre happy to offer a review appointment (free of charge) within one week of your original visit, where clinically appropriate.
Confidentiality and Your Information
Your privacy is important to us. All personal and medical information is kept confidential and processed in accordance with data protection regulations. Full details are available in our clinic Privacy Policy.
